Thick paper shopping or carrier bag, cream colour, printed with the trademark of Amanda Jane in red and green. The top edge is strengthened and each side has a cord strap; one green and the other pink.
The Amanda Jane Company, was founded in 1952 making accessories for dolls rather than the dolls themselves. The company supplied leading stores including Harrods, Hamleys and Selfridges. The first dolls were produced in 1958. Company is still in business.
