Woman’s stomacher of ivory silk taffeta, backed with coarse linen. It is embroidered with coloured silk twist in satin, long, short and detached buttonhole stitches and couched with silver filé, pur and spangles. The pattern is mirror-imaged flowers and feathers, with a couched cord around the edges. The edges are bound with ivory silk grosgrain ribbon and there are two short loops of ivory silk grosgrain ribbon on each side for fastening.
