Woman’s stomacher of bleached linen embroidered in chain stitch with coloured silks in a floral design against a vermicelli pattern back-stitched in yellow silk. It is triangular in shape with 3 short narrow skirts on each side of the point. It is bound with yellow silk grosgrain ribbon and the edges couched with a narrow woven silver lace. There is a linen tape loops at the top on each side for fastening and a decorative lacing of silver cord.
