Woman's stomacher of bleached linen, backed with coarse linen. It is in 3 pieces, with 'false robings on each side, forming narrow, short skirts at the bottom. The stomacher is embroidered with coloured silks in satin, long and short stitches and couched with silver-gilt filé, in a pattern of large flowers over a ground of vermicelli pattern worked with pale yellow silk in back stitch. All the edges are bound with narrow linen tape.
