Non-matching robing and stomacher for a woman’s gown or sack. The robing is made of cream silk satin lined with pale blue silk sarsenet. It is embroidered with coloured silks, couched with silver-gilt filé and edged with silver-gilt bobbin lace. The stomacher is made of ivory silk taffeta embroidered with coloured silk floss over thick padding, couched with silver filé, frizé and strip and edged with silver bobbin lace.
