Handkerchief of printed silk. 'Guide to London'. The map of London is plate-printed in sepia on white silk with a yellow surround. the map extends from Regent's Park in the north-west to Shoreditch in the north-east, Surrey Zoological Gardens in the south-east and Cremorne Gardens in the south-west. Marked on the map are theatres, statues, railway termini, the Oval buildings such as the British Museum, the Tower and Crystal Palace, and the Chinese Junk at the Essex Pier on the river. The map is headed in three languages and has a printed compass in the lower right-hand corner.
