Dressing jacket of fine, turquoise wool. The jackets is hip length, unwaisted and entirely pleated from the shoulder yoke. The sleeves are long, more loosely pleated, caught in below the elbow and flaring in a loose cuff. There is a wide, square collar, trimmed with stitched tucks. White machine-made lace flounces trim the edge of the collar, cuffs and hem of jacket. There is additional applied lace trimming on the collar. The sleeves are cotton-lined. The jacket is machine stitched.
