1970s (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Pair of men's trainer shoes made of black and white imitation leather with buff plastic serrated soles and white nylon laces. There are six pairs of plain punched eyelet holes for the laces. The eyelet tab and the toe cap are made from one piece of material. The eyelets almost reach the toe cap and the tongue opening is cut deliberately wide so that the eyelets cannot meet when the shoe is laced up. The binding is slightly padded and the inside of the tongue is lined with black jersey knit acrylic. There are decorative white stripes stitched to the sides and back heel.
