Pair of ladies stockings made from amchine-knitted white cotton with white 'chevened' trimming of linked diamonds reaching from toe to mid-calf. They have a hand sewn seam running through the foot and up to the centre back leg. The welts are turned over and knitted in. A cottontape is attached to the welt. They are faulty and the seam will not lie straight.

Physical description
Pair of ladies stockings made from amchine-knitted white cotton with white 'chevened' trimming of linked diamonds reaching from toe to mid-calf. They have a hand sewn seam running through the foot and up to the centre back leg. The welts are turned over and knitted in. A cottontape is attached to the welt.
