1930s (made)
Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Man's hat of fake astrakhan. The hat is made from a woven fabric which seems to have a black cotton foundation into which black woollen loops have been woven using a pile warp. The pointed hat is made from five panels. The lower edge has not been finished-off and the hat would probably have been woven with this end turned under.
