Two halves of a man’s waistcoat made of cream silk satin, embroidered with coloured silks and silver spangles in a repeating pattern of abstract floral sprigs. There is a 2½-inch (6.7 cm) standing collar, revers and welted pockets. The waistcoat is lined with fustian and backed with linen.
