Pattern book containing sixteen pages with various trimmings, including fringes, gimps, cords and braids. Each page has a number of glued down the passementerie samples. They range from coarse woollen braids through heavily fringed braids composed of rayon, cotton, wool and silver gilt to simple cotton trimmings. Towards the end the samples have of vivid synthetic dyes.
