Tie made of knitted red alpaca wool. With square ends. The tie is machine knitted and has an open lacy design except around the neck where stocking stitch is used and also at the welted ends. The ends are machine stitched.

There are two labels, one of cream silk ribbon bearing the makers name, and the other of black silk.
