Man’s waistcoat, the fronts of bleached cotton piqué, the back of bleached linen. It has a ¾-inch (1.9 cm) standing collar, wide revers, straight fronts each with a welted pocket, reaching to the top of the hip. The waistcoat is lined with linen. The waistcoat has a double-breasted effect with 12 passementerie buttons of linen thread on the right front and 12 worked buttonholes and 11 buttons on the left front. There are 2 pairs of linen tape ties at the back.
