Description from the acquisition register

Parasol, green silk cover, with jointed brass stick and carved bone handle. Dome-shaped. The cover has a figured border and a white silk lining. The finial and handle (the latter Γ shaped) are carved geometrical and leaf ornament. The ribs are whalebone and the frame metal.
