Vase of porcelain transfer-printed with black enamel and over-painted with enamels. Globular body with an expanding neck and gilt edge, and two small loop handles and three small feet. On one side are the arms of the Prince of Wales, and on the other are the initials 'AA' under the Prince of Wales's feathers and coronet, and the inscription 'SILVER WEDDING OF THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES, MAR. 10, 1888'. On the bottom are printed the words 'MODEL OF ANCIENT PIPKIN DUG UP AT N.P. BANK, SOUTHAMPTON'.
