Console table with baroque fringe, and cabriole leg supported on three baroque scroll feet; the leg flanked by palm-branches. Painted in slate blue, yellow, brownish orange, olive green and manganese purple. On the top, a fanciful landscape with flowers on rockwork, a pinnacled building and a fountain on the shore of a lake, and distant mountains. On the leg and feet, sprays of flowers and rocks of pseudo-Chinese character. Oil gilding round the edge of the fringe and on details of the supports.
