Bust of a woman, emblematic of Autumn, in tin-glazed earthenware painted in colours. Her head is turned to the left, and her hair is bound in a wreath of grapes and scarlet roses with foliage, and caught together at the back and fastened by a short scarf painted in blue. The eyes and hair are painted in blue, and her brocaded robe is painted in red, green, blue and yellow and turned back to show a blue lining. Four-sided pedestal with gadrooned top and incurved sides painted with a cornucopia containing flowers, birds and scrolls.

Bust of a woman, emblematic of Autumn, in tin-glazed earthenware painted in colours. Object history
Letters from the curator of the Musées royaux d'art et d'histoire (Bruxelles, 23th December 1932) and from M. Guey (Musée de Rouen, 3rd January 1933) attached to the register confirming it is a 19th century imitation.
A closely similar bust in Brussels (see Dansart, Les anciennes faïences de Bruxelles, pl. XXXIV) labelled as ancient Brussels by the author but considered as 19th century by the curator (see letter in register).
