Their premises were in rue du Faubourg, St Denis, Paris, from where this vase and its pair were purchased. In the catalogue to the international exhibition, Paris, 1867, in which these vases were shown, the company was advertised as exhibiting 'porcelain; decorated porcelain and earthenware'.
