Object history | M.J. Richard and Co. made a wide variety of earthenwares, porcelains and terracottas, as well as chemical laboratory equipment. At the London 1862 Exhibition the Jury found their "average quality commendable, and the prices attached to the articles extremely moderate". This vase is one of a pair given to the Museum by M. Richard. |
