Rectangular box with slightly domed lid hinged with a gilt metal mount. On the lid, a basket of lotus-flowers and leaves. Round the side, flowers and leaves of the lotus, the peony, the chrysanthemum and the prunus respectively, painted in red, blue, green, yellow and black enamels.
