Medallion of the young Bacchus in earthenware glazed and painted with colours. Bacchus is shown in relief against a marbled background. He is squeezing a bunch of grapes into an urn and has a wreath of vine round his head. The vine leaves are coloured turquoise blue and the grapes are blue and purple. The vase is marbled with blue and pink. Bacchus has a flowering scarf over one shoulder.
