The dress has a round neck with a Peter Pan collar and puffed or wrist-length sleeves; the fullness of the skirt falls from the shirred bodice or yoke. The garment has an optional sash, and fastens at the back with buttons and stitched buttonholes. The matching pants have a front yoke and an elasticated waist back.
