Figure of a drummer, stands on a high four-legged rococo base, with a spreading bocage behind. A fragment of more foliage in bronze remains in the shape of a broken stem screwed through the base at the back. The figure, a beardless youth, beats a tambourine with a drumstick, held in his right hand, and with his left hand holds to his mouth a flageolet (now broken away).
