In the form of a tree trunk applied with flowers and leaves, a bird perched on each of the two main branches, a nest between them at the front; a further branch forms the handle and has a flower thumb-piece; on the mound base lies a lamb; a sawn-off metal stump, which must have supported the candle-nozzle, rises through a hole between the two main branches and is held in place by a soldered pad that emerges under the glazed base which is ground at the edge. The birds with variegated plumage in pale blue, yellow, iron-red, brown and grey, the leaves in pea green, the edge of the mound base with lilac feather-like painting.
