Jug of soft-paste porcelain, painted in enamels and gilded. Pear-shaped, with a mouth curving slightly outwards, a projecting lip moulded in the form of a satyr's mask and painted, and a scrolled loop handle. On the front in a medallion below the mask is a landscape with a church beside a river. Round the mouth and base are blue borders edged with gilt scrollwork. The remaining surface is painted with groups of fruit, butterflies and other insects.
