Jug of soft-paste porcelain painted in blue, gilded and moulded in relief. Egg-shaped body moulded with a cabbage-leaf pattern. Cylindrical neck, lip moulded with a bearded mask and scroll handle. Divided vertically into six panels, each containing a formalised lotus-plant, gilded over painting in underglaze blue. Round the shoulder the design is broken by a narrow band of wicker diaper with three reserved flower panels, all in gold on blue. Round the foot and rim are similar bands.
