Medallion of white Jasper ware with black dip and applied white bas-relief decoration. The scene depicts the Roman Goddess Aurora driving her Chariot. She wears a half moon diadem in her hair and flying classical robes. Her small chariot is pulled to the left accross a cloud by two rearing horses. The front edge of the medallion is bevelled and polished.
