Slightly convex oval plaque in blue Jasper ware with applied white bas-relief decoration. The scene depicts two naked winged putti either side of a flaming altar. The left hand cupid holds a butterfly by the wings above the flames with his left hand, and a torch in the other hand. The second naked putti holds a disk like object in the flames.
