Oval medallion of white Jasperware with blue dip and applied white bas-relief figure of Apollo Citharoedus. He stands contrapposto, wearing a cloak and holding his Lyre atop a tall column to his left. The medallion is mounted in a frame of cut and polished steel. Round the edge of the medallion is a row of white Jasperware rosettes with pierced centres. These are set with small facetted steel beads, of which are missing. Similar beads are set around the edge of the steel frame.
