Monteith of soft-paste porcelain with decoration moulded in relief and transfer-printed in underglaze blue. Rim deeply divided into wavy scallops to receive the stems of wine glasses. At either end is a blue acanthus leaf handle, and round the outside are formal sprays of flowers.
