Object history
One of two tea cups and saucers with C.634B&C-1935. Formerly in the collections of William Edkin, who purchased the set at the sale of T. G. G. White in 1877, and Alfred Trapnell. From a service made as a wedding present for Sir Robert Smyth, Bart. of Berechurch Hall, near Colcester, who married Charlotte Blake in 1776.
