Cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain. The cup cylindrical. Both pieces have a border of gilt leaf ornament, the remaining surface being painted with festoons and conventional ornament en grisaille on a yellow ground. In medallions on the front of the cup and in the middle of the saucer are landscapes described underneath the pieces as "Near Ingleby, Derbyshire.," and "Near Morley Derbyshire.," respectively.
