Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted in enamels and gilt. Underneath each piece is written in red the description of the view with which it is painted, on the cup 'In Dove Dale,' and on the saucer 'Near Lymington Hampshire.' The views are in eight-sided panels on a salmon red ground covered with a gilt lattice-pattern; round the inside of each piece is a gilt conventional border.
