Bust of a man, biscuit porcelain. He wears a shirt with an open collar over which is draped a classical-style covering. He is clean-shaven but has side-whiskers. His head is turned quarter to the right. The bust is attached to a shaped circular alabaster base. The paste is dry and granular.
