Potpourri vase of bone china with applied decoration in relief on a lavender blue ground. Round the middle are groups of cupids and young bacchanals at play. The body is nearly hemispherical with incurved shoulder and two handles in the form of eagles; it is supported on a tall foot rising from a square plinth. Round the shoulder and lower part are bands of conventional ornament. The cupids and bacchanals are represented sporting with a goat and a lion or drinking wine and eating grapes.
