On the front of the cup and in the middle of the saucer is a group of flowers and fruit in a compartment outlined by gilt rococo scrolls and reserved in white on a turquoise-blue ground.

Double 'C' and 'COPELAND' in green - Mark in use by the factory 1850-90. (Printed in green)
