Coffee cup of hard-paste porcelain. Cylindrical, with rectangular handle. On the front, a rectangular panel with truncated corners, painted with a scene representing the ruins of a classical baths, with trees in the background and figures of ladies and gentlemen strolling in the foreground. Round the lower half of the mug runs a band of orange, and above this a gilt border consisting of star designs alternating with classical motifs of scrolls and leaf sprays.
