Centrepiece or chestnut basket in hard-paste porcelain, painted with enamels, moulded and gilded. Oval tray with light sockets of which four are flat, four raised and painted with bouquets of flowers. In the centre is a tall pedestal, with sides partly of open basketwork and elaborate gilt ornament supporting a gilt and flowered basket. The tray is adorned with gilt rococo scrolls, two rococo handles and scrollwork feet.
