Tureen and cover of hard-paste porcelain. Circular; slightly domed cover with knob in the form of a rose, with flower and stem attachments painted in purple and green; two handles in the form of applied female masks painted in natural colours with three-feather headdresses in gold; four scrolled feet shaded in gold. Painted on the sides and on the cover each with two gilt rococo scrolled and lacework panels, enclosing landscapes in purple monochrome with houses, shipping, trees and hills, alternating with gilt foliated scrollwork panels left blank; below and above a gilt border of foliation, dots and featherwork.
