Cup of hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Tall with almost vertical sides curving outwards towards the lip and inwards to a low foot. On the front is a bowl of fruit and on the back is a pheasant-like bird amidst sprays of flowers and leaves, all rendered in gilding with black outlines and touches of green and red enamel.
