Tray of hard-paste porcelain painted in colours and gilded. Lozenge-shaped with eight small shell-shaped feet and slanting wavy rim of pierced lattice-work, interrupted alternately with a scallop-shell in relief and an oval opening, and all outlined in gold. In the middle, beneath a festoon of green laurel leaves tied with crimson ribbons with sprays of gilt foliage springing from it, is a circular medallion enclosing two gilt silhouette busts of a lady and man facing one another.
