Sugar box and cover of hard-paste porcelain, of oval, bombé shape, domed cover. The cover is painted in enamel colours with a Chinoiserie scene in the manner of J.G. Höroldt, framed by gold lace ornament including lustre panels, the box with continuous chinoiseries. Gilt mouldings.

Sugar box and cover, hard-paste porcelain, painted in enamels and gilt, made by Meissen porcelain factory, Germany, 1723-24, decorated between 1725-30.

Sugar box and cover of hard-paste porcelain, of oval, bombé shape, domed cover. The cover is painted in enamel colours with a Chinoiserie scene in the manner of J.G. Höroldt, framed by gold lace ornament including lustre panels, the box with continuous chinoiseries. Gilt mouldings.
