Teapot with cover of hard-paste porcelain. Flattened spherical shape, curved spout, plain J-handle. Low cover with ball knob. Painted with Höroldt chinoiseries in colours and gold, on the body framed with gilt scrolls, panels of dark-toned lustre and laub-und bandelwerk in purple and red. Spandrels painted with Indian flowers. Panels of red lattice on spout.
