Jug of earthenware. Piriform body with low foot set in a silver mount, and small neck-rim edged with buff-slip. Beak shaped, open-topped spout with silver mount, set at right-angles to the plain loop handle. To the latter is anchored a hinged silver cover with shell-shaped thumb-piece and knob in the form of a monkey smoking a pipe.
