Group of a bear baited by dogs, glazed white hard-paste porcelain. Flat, oval base, with crescent-shaped slices cut from the edge. A bear, seated to right, with head turned to the front, clasps a dog round the neck with its right fore-paw, pulling it backwards on its haunches, its left forepaw rests on the haunch of another dog, prostrate to the right, and a third attacks it from behind.
