Vase of porcelain painted with enamels, moulded and gilded. Amphora-shaped with scrolls handles, and moulded and gilded with lion-masks and acanthus leaves. Square foot. Painted with a view of Kirkham Priory, Yorkshire. Round the neck are gilt scrolls and foliations arranged symmetrically on either side. On the body is a circular panel edged with symmetrical gilt scrollwork and foliations and contains a landscape with a ruin, a stream, a man and woman, and a tree.
