Vase and cover of porcelain, painted in enamels and gilt. Globular bowl on baluster stem, with circular foot supported on three gilt lions' paws. The bowl is in two thicknesses, the outer surface as well as the foot and cover being perforated with rosettes and with hexagonal and key-hole patterns. The rims of the bowl and of the cover are painted with floral sprays on a yellow ground, and round the foot is a border of gilt scrollwork.
