Cup and saucer of bone china, painted in cobalt blue, enamel colours and decorated with gilding, in imitation of Japanese Imari ware. Inside the cup, and round the rim of the saucer, is a border of flowers and lozenges in alternate compartments with a blue ground; the outside of the cup and the middle of the saucer are each decorated with two shaped blue panels containing red flowers and gilt scrolls, and separated by floral sprays.
