Oval dish on raised foot with oval depression in the middle surrounded by strapwork which interlaces and branches off to form a border for four circular depressions round the sides and for the edge of the dish. In the spaces between the circular depression are four cupids, one with a shield, one with a spray of foliage and a quiver, one with a fasces and an olive branch, the fourth with a trumpet and flag. Coloured in green, blue and yellow with bodies left white, on a brown ground. The depressions and the reverse are mottled.
